SKI COLORADO EYECARE CONFERENCE 2013

Its all over folks! Great week, super cold for the first few days [ -20's middle of the day!] certainly testing out survival skills, then the weather turned gentle with clear sunny days for some great cruising on the beautiful open slopes the USA is famous for.
The next event will be back to the Dolomites again [it's hard to stay away from that place!] Please email me if you are interested, places will probably be limited due to accommodation constraints.
This is a conference for all Eye Care Professionals, General Practitioners, Pharmacists and associated workers. Friends and guests are all welcome to tag along for the week as well.
The 2013 conference will be based in the newly renovated Westin Hotel complex at Snowmass [formarly the Silvertree], Colorado, USA. Starting Saturday 12th January, 2013, running over 1 week.
Snowmass is the largest of the 4 Aspen ski areas. The hotel is perfectly located with ski-in/ski-out access. The ski area is suitable for beginners through to experts. It has the largest vertical in the USA at 1,345m and is set between 2,470 and 3,815m which equates to excellent snow quality. There is also a regular free shuttle bus available if you wish to explore the other 3 Aspen resort areas. More details of the ski area can be found at this link.
It will begin the week starting Saturday 12th January, 2013 and follow the successful format that has made these conferences so popular since 2005. This will be the 10th eyecare conference I have put together. Lecture sessions will run on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday & Thursday between 4 and 8pm.
I now have the accommodation details available. Please email me on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for a copy of the package. There is already strong interest in this event so early action to secure your places and secure earlybird prices is strongly advised.
GETTING THERE
From Australia a flight to either Denver, Colorado or to Aspen airport [closer, do this if possible] is the way to go. Usually it will be via Los Angeles. I have no direct involvement in the flights and you are best to sort this via your own travel agent or via the internet.

Above shows the perfect location of the venue.
